LONG BEACH, Calif. ? The UTSA men’s golf team turned in a
team total of 568 (283-285/+8) during Thursday's first two rounds at the 12th Annual Del Walker
Intercollegiate Golf Classic.
Senior Shane Costelloe paced the Roadrunners with a sixth-place
showing after shooting one-under-par (67-72=139). Junior Kyle
Collins is tied for 18th with a 71-70=141, while senior Sean Burch and
sophomore Simon Merry are five strokes behind Collins with a two-round total
of 146. Senior Thomas Kearney shot a
75-72=147 (t-46th) and sophomore Emiliano Martinez fired a 76-73=149 (57th).
The final round will be played on Friday.
