Self, the 2000 National Coach of the Year while at Tulsa, will host a half-court offense session at 9:45 a.m. Entering his fifth season with Kansas, Self has posted 10 consecutive 20-win seasons, has won three straight Big 12 Championships and has led Kansas, Illinois and Tulsa to the Elite Eight. Lucas, the No. 1 overall pick in the 1976 NBA Draft, spent 14 seasons in the league with Houston, Golden State, Washington, San Antonio, Milwaukee and Seattle, and he still owns the NBA record for assists in one quarter with 14. Lucas also was a head coach for five seasons with San Antonio, Philadelphia and Cleveland, including playoff runs in 1993 and 1994 with the Spurs. Spoonhour will hold his “Random Digressions” session at 2:30 p.m.

Rick Sherley of the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) will open the day at 9 a.m., while a UTSA practice will conclude the clinic from 4-6 p.m.
