DENTON ? The UTSA women’s golf team fired a team total of 304-315=619 and finished tied for fifth place on the final day of the UNT Classic held at the Robson Ranch Golf Course.
Junior Allie Jordan shot a 75-79=154 for the tournament and finished tied for 18th, while freshman Janine Fellows ended her day one stroke behind Jordan (75-80=155) for a 22nd-place showing. Sophomore Shelly Martinez and junior Laura Baker each posted a 158 on the day and were tied for 35th. Also in action was sophomore Kayla McBride, who finished tied for 48th with a 84-76=160.
UTSA is back in action on Sept. 29-30 when ut travels to New Haven, Conn, for the Yale Women’s Fall Intercollegiate.
