SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA women’s tennis team concludes its regular season with a two-match road swing that begins Saturday at McNeese State. The road trip concludes at Lamar on Sunday. Friday's schduled match at Rice has been cancelled.
UTSA currently is the No. 6 seed for the 2007 SLC Women’s Tennis Tournament with a 5-4 record and stands at 11-7 overall. The Roadrunners are coming off a 7-0 win against Central Arkansas on April 6 at the UTSA Tennis Center.
The Cowgirls have won three consecutive matches, including a 5-1 victory at Memphis on April 10. McNeese is sporting a 7-11 record but are 0-9 in the SLC.
Meanwhile, the Lady Cardinals are 10-9 overall and 5-3 in conference action. Texas-Arlington handed Lamar a 5-1 loss on April 9 in College Station.
