WICHITA, Kan. – The UTSA men’s golf team fired a pair of 305’s in both the first and second rounds and it is in 11th place at the Diet Pepsi Shocker Golf Classic, played Monday at the Wichita Country Club.
Senior Matt Johnston posted a 74-75=149 in the first two rounds and is tied for 24th place, while sophomore Kyle Collins is tied for 31st (75-75=150). Freshman Simon Merry ended his day tied for 50th with a 78-77=155 and junior Thomas Kearney turned in a pair of 78’s for a two-round total of 156.
Tuesday's final round begins at 8:30 a.m.
