- Sophomore Monica Gibbs' 12th double-double of the season sparked UTSA to a 59-44 victory against Stephen F. Austin in Saturday night's regular season finale at the Convocation Center.

Gibbs recorded game-highs of 17 points and 12 rebounds, while junior Terrie Davis posted her second double-double of the year with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Senior Vivian Ewalefo added 13 points, as the Roadrunners (13-15, 9-7) collected their fourth consecutive victory and first season sweep of Stephen F. Austin in school history.

Charity Egenti led Stephen F. Austin (19-10, 11-5 SLC) with 15 points and 12 rebounds, while Nikki Carr and Natalie Kizzee added eight points apiece.

Ewalefo highlighted a 14-8 run that extended UTSA's lead to 50-29 midway through the second half when she poured in eight points. SFA got within 15 points after an 8-2 run, but it would the closet the Ladyjacks would get the rest of the night.

The Roadrunners scored the first seven points of the game and never trailed after that. Evelyn Edward's short jumper with 16:45 remaining in the first half cut the UTSA's lead to five points at 9-4, but the Roadrunners scored 15 consecutive points over the next 5:53 to extend the lead 25-6. Kizzee's jumper ended a three-minute scoreless drought for SFA to make the score 25-8. However, freshman Lynsey Freeman responded with back-to-back 3-pointers that capped off an 8-0 run with 2:46 to go in the frame.

UTSA travels to Houston for next week's O'Reilly Auto Parts/Southland Conference Tournament as the No. 5 seed and will play No. 4 seed Southeastern Louisiana Wednesday, March 7, at 8:30 p.m. in the Campbell Center.
