EUGENE, Ore. – The UTSA women’s golf team shot a finial-round 316 in Tuesday’s final round and placed ninth with a two-day total of 973 at the Duck Invitational held at the Shadow Hills Country Club.
Junior Lesan Gouge ended her day with a 78-82-77=237 and tied for 21st place, while freshman Madison McClain finished six strokes behind her (83-76-84=243). Sophomore Laura Baker concluded her tournament tied for 38th after carding an 84-85-76=245. Sophomore Allie Jordan and freshman Shelly Martinez finished in 57th and 69th place, respectively.
UTSA travels to Horseshoe Bay in two weeks for the 2007 Southland Conference Championships at the Applerock Golf Course (April 9-11).
