FRISCO — UTSA senior All-American Ryanne Dupree was named Aeropostale/Southland Conference Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week for the third straight week, the league office announced Tuesday.
Dupree turned in her fourth outstanding performance of the outdoor season at the Texas Invitational in Austin last Saturday. The three-time All-American posted a pair of NCAA regional-qualifying marks, winning the 100-meter hurdles in 13.62 — her fourth regional time of the season — and taking top honors in the long jump with a personal-best 20-4 1/4 measure, which made her the No. 4 performer in school history. Dupree also ran on the victorious 4x100-meter relay team that finished in 46.03, finished second in the high jump with a season-best 5-7 clearance and placed third in the javelin with a toss of 124-11.
The Roadrunners are off this weekend, but return to action on April 4-7 at the Texas Relays in Austin.
