TEMPE, Ariz. – Junior Will Vese collected his second NCAA Regional qualifying time in as many weeks on Saturday when he raced to a personal-best 13.92 in finishing third in the 110-meter hurdles at the Arizona State Clif Bar Invitational. His time puts him third on the school's all-time performers chart.
Senior Benson Cheserek finished second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:07.98 and junior Luke Johnson matched his personal best in the shot put with a 16.49m measure.
UTSA is back in action on Wednesday, April 4, when it travels to Austin to compete in the four-day Texas Relays.
