SAN ANTONIO — Senior Jessica Rogers went a combined 6-for-7 with four home runs to help UTSA gain a split in doubleheader action against conference leader Nicholls State on Saturday at Roadrunner Field. In a battle between the top two teams in the Southland Conference, the Roadrunners secured a 4-1 game two victory highlighted by Rogers two-run blast in the bottom of the fifth inning. The Colonels won the series opener, 7-6.

After today’s action, UTSA is 17-18 overall and 11-3 in SLC action. Nicholls State stands at 17-11 and 8-2.
