GOODYEAR, Ariz. – The UTSA men’s golf team finished day one of the Ron Moore Invitational tied for seventh place with rounds of 286-285=571 on Monday at the Palm Valley Golf Course.
Junior Thomas Kearney capped off his day with a 2-under par (69-73=142) and is tied for 20th place. Kearney carded a 69 in the first round and followed it with a 73 in the second round. Freshman Simon Merry, senior Matt Johnston and sophomore Kyle Collins are tied for 30th place with a 143.
