BEAUMONT - Freshman Madison McClain shot a final-round 79 on Tuesday and placed 11th (78-79=157) at the Lamar Invitational. The tournament was called after the completion of the second round due to heavy rain.
Sophomore Allie Jordan ended her day tied for 29th with an 81-81=162, while junior Lesan Gouge finished three strokes behind Jordan at 165 (82-83). Freshman Shelly Martinez tallied a final score 167 (87-80) for a 41st-place showing.
UTSA travels to the Women’s Duck Invitational in Junction City, Ore., on March 26-27.
