SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA men’s tennis team returns to action this week on Thursday against Connecticut (3 p.m.) and then steps back into Southland Conference play on Saturday against Lamar (1 p.m.). Both matches will be played at the UTSA Tennis Center.
The Roadrunners are coming off a tough loss against No. 48 East Tennessee State (5-2) on March 5 that snapped their five-match winning streak. UTSA is 7-5 on the year and a perfect 2-0 in league play.
The Huskies, 1-3 on the season, dropped a 7-0 decision against Yale on Feb. 25. Their lone win of the year came against Holy Cross on Feb. 18 (7-0).
The Cardinals dealt Prairie View A&M a 7-0 loss on Feb. 17 and stands at 4-5 this year. This weekend marks the beginning of their SLC campaign.
