COLLEGE STATION – The UTSA women’s tennis team fell 7-0 at No. 29 Texas A&M in non-conference action on Saturday morning. The Roadrunners dropped to 1-2 with the loss, while the Aggies improved to 3-1 on the season.
After Texas A&M swept all three doubles matches, the Aggies picked up wins at the No. 3 and No. 6 positions with straight-set wins. A&M then clinched the match when Elze Potgieter handed junior Tanya Hasking a 6-0, 6-1 defeat.
UTSA is back in action on Saturday, Feb. 10, when it opens its 2007 home campaign against Texas-Pan American. First serve is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the UTSA Tennis Center.
