SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA men’s tennis team opens Southland Conference play this weekend when they host Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday and Nicholls State the following day at the UTSA Tennis Center.
UTSA will host Southeastern Louisiana (3-1) at noon on Saturday. The Lions handled Southern a 7-0 defeat on Feb. 19. The Roadrunners then will face Nicholls State (1-2) at 11 a.m. on Sunday. Last season, UTSA knocked off the Colonels in the first round of the 2006 SLC Men’s Tennis Tournament, 4-0.
UTSA collected a pair of wins last weekend at Las Cruces, N.M. The Roadrunners are 4-4 this season.
