SAN ANTONIO - UTSA travels to College Station to compete in the Aggie Classic this Friday-Sunday, Feb. 16-18, at the Aggie Softball Complex. The Roadrunners (1-4) face Rutgers (0-0) and Arkansas (1-4) on Friday and Saturday before playing No. 3/4 Texas A&M (5-0) at 12:15 p.m. on Sunday.

Series Histories:
UTSA is 1-0 against Arkansas, winning 3-2 on Feb. 14, 1999, in the Texas-Arlington Classic. The Roadrunners are 5-24 all-time versus Texas A&M, the last win a 3-2 victory on Feb. 3, 2001, in College Station. The Aggies won both meetings (7-6, 4-2) last season. UTSA and Rutgers have never met on the softball field.

A New Era:
Lori Cook enters her second year as head coach after guiding the Roadrunners to one of the most successful seasons in school history in 2006. UTSA was 37-14 overall, won its third consecutive SLC regular season title with a 22-5 mark, won the SLC Tournament for the second time in three years and made its second NCAA Tournament appearance.

UTSA Tidbits
• The Roadrunners last played in a tournament hosted by Texas A&M in 1998, going 4-2 with victories against Penn State, New Mexico State and Texas A&M
• UTSA has led the NCAA in home runs per game in each of the last four seasons, but hit just one — a grand slam by Jessica Rogers — in the first five games last weekend
• Senior Aimee Murray and sophomore Rachel Rackley collected two doubles apiece last weekend
• Texas A&M junior Megan Gibson, the Louisville Slugger/NFCA National Player of the Week, is the younger sister of former UTSA all-conference standout Krystal Gibson
