SAN ANTONIO — The UTSA softball program will host alumni activities on Saturday, Jan. 27, at Roadrunner Field. The day begins at noon with the annual Hit-A-Thon fundraiser, followed by the UTSA Alumni Game, pitting the current Roadrunners against a team of former standouts. Admission is free.
UTSA, the three-time defending Southland Conference (SLC) regular season champions and reigning SLC Tournament champions, was tabbed as the preseason favorite in both the head coaches and sports information directors polls on Thursday. The Roadrunners, who finished a league-best 22-5 last year and 37-14 overall, placed a league-best five players on the preseason squads.
