LUFKIN – Due to heavy rains throughout East Texas on Tuesday, the final round of the Bill Hill Crown Classic was cancelled. With the third round being washed out, Monday's scores will stand as the final results. The UTSA men’s golf team fired a 299-295=594 (+18) on Monday for a a sixth-place finish.
Sophomore Kyle Collins finished his day tied for sixth with a 72-72=144 (E). Junior Thomas Kearney is tied for 18th after shooting a 73-75=148 (+4), while Nick Olivarri capped off his day six-over-par for 28th place. Meanwhile, juniors Philipp Krohn and Shane Costelloe are tied for 43rd and 48th, respectively.
The Roadrunners return to action on Oct. 23-24 when they host the UTSA Invitational in Kerrville.
