NEWPORT, R.I. - The UTSA men’s golf team shot a 296-298=594 and trail host school Rhode Island by a pair of strokes after two rounds of play at the Adams Cup of Newport.
In the individual standings, junior Philipp Krohn is tied for sixth place with a 72-73=145 (+1), while junior Nick Olivarri trails Krohn by three stokes at +4. Junior Shane Costelloe tallied a 75-76=151 (+7) and sophomore Kyle Collins is tied for 26th after carding a 75-77=152 (+8). Junior Sean Burch turned an 83-75=158 (+14).
Final-round play is scheduled all day tomorrow at the Orchard Course.
