LONG BEACH, Calif. - Junior Thomas Kearney and sophomore Kyle Collins lead the individual field at the 11th Annual Del Walker Intercollegiate with a three-under-par score to pace the UTSA men's golf team, which trails by four strokes behind leaders St. Mary's (Calif.) and Arkansas after day one at the Virginia Country Club.
Junior Nick Olivarri ended the day tied for 44th with a 73-75=148 (+6), while senior Matt Johnston is tied for 56th with a 76-74=150 and junior Shane Costelloe is tied for 62nd after carding a total first two rounds 151 (+9).
UTSA concludes play Friday morning.
