SAN ANTONIO - Shelly Martinez, who signed with UTSA in November, ended her career at Pecos High School with a third-place finish at the Texas 3A State Tournament on May 8-12 at the Jimmy Clay Golf Course in Austin, Texas. Martinez carded a 76-76=152.
Incoming freshman, Kayla McBride finished her Sonora High School career with a third-place finish at the Texas 2A State Tournament. McBride posted a 76-82=158 score at the Jimmy Clay Golf Course. McBride signed a National Letter of Intent last November.
