Wolfe finishes 11th at NCAA Championships

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Senior Bryan Wolfe (right) scored 3,508 second-day points during Thursday's final day of action in the decathlon and finished in 11th place (7,111) at the NCAA Championships.

Wolfe is the second UTSA decathlete in the last three years to finish among the top 11 nationally (other: Justin Youngblood, seventh in 2004).

The Raymondville native posted four top-10 finishes on Thursday. He was seventh in the javelin (54.34m), tied for eighth in the pole vault (4.50m) and 10th in the discus (38.63m) and 1,500 meters (4:46.76).
