Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Southeastern Louisiana each had nine student-athletes receive either singles or doubles all-conference merits, while UTSA and Texas-Arlington had three student-athletes earn all-conference honors.
Joining Morant-Rivas, men’s Player of the Year, on the All-SLC first team as an automatic qualifier is freshman Andre Moreira of UTSA, sophomore Matthieu Leboucher of Southeastern Louisiana, sophomore Jan Cingel of TAMCC and sophomore Vladimir Paunic of SLU. Senior Niels Buksik of Texas-Arlington was voted to the first team at No. 6 singles by the league’s head coaches and sports information directors.
Moreira was undefeated, 4-0, at No. 2 singles while Leboucher and Cingel went 3-0 at No. 3 and No. 4 singles, respectively.
