CRESWELL, Ore. - The UTSA women’s golf team finished 14th at the Oregon Duck Invitational held Monday-Tuesday at Emerald Valley Golf Course (par 71/6,191 yards).
The Roadrunners fired rounds of 345, 337 and 332 for a 54-hole total of 1,014. San Jose State won the team title with a 307-305-306-918, followed by Oregon State (919), Idaho (923), Washington State (924) and Fresno State (932).
Individually, freshman Laura Baker led all UTSA players with an 81-81-81-243 to tie for 39th place. Freshman Jenna Wessels tied for 47th (245), while freshman Allie Jordan was 63rd (253). Neely Hutchins and Michelle Kowalick rounded out the top five in 81st (278).
The Roadrunners return to the course on April 3-4 when the travel to Kyle, Texas, for the CenturyTel/Bobcat Invitational.
