GOODYEAR, Ariz. – The UTSA men’s golf team finished in ninth place at the final day of the 2006 Pioneer Classic in Goodyear, Ariz., at the Palm Valley Golf Course.
Senior John Elizondo (right) finished the day in 21st place three under par with a score of 71-71-71-213 for the Roadrunners. Sophomore Thomas Kearney posted a one under par score with a 71-73-71-215 and finished tied for 30th. Junior Matt Johnson shot an even par score after scoring 71-74-72-217 at the classic. Freshman Kyle Collins ended the day with a three over par score (76-74-70-220), while sophomore Shane Costello scored a 79-68-77-224.
