SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The UTSA baseball team travels to Dallas, Texas, for a three-game series against Dallas Baptist this Thursday-Saturday, March 2-4, at Patriot Field. First pitch in game one is slated for 6 p.m.
The Roadrunners are coming a off a three-game set against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islander last week Feb.25-26. After winning the opener 9-5, UTSA dropped the next two games 6-4 and 6-4.
The Runners are 4-7 overall and have lost their last two contests, while the Patriots are 8-3 and riding a three-game winning streak. DBU upended No. 21 TCU 11-8 on Feb. 28 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Last season, Dallas Baptist swept UTSA on Feb. 17-19 at Wolff Stadium. The Patriots lead the all-time series 3-0.
UTSA returns home to Roadrunner Field for a single game against Texas-Pan American on March 7 at 2 p.m.
