Austin, Texas - UTSA men's tennis dropped a 7-0 decision to No. 52 Tulsa on Friday afternoon at the Penick-Allison Tennis Center in Austin, Texas.
Arnau Brugues tallied a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Andre Moreira at the No. 1 singles position, as Ricardo Soriano registered a, 6-4, 1-0 retire, win in the No. 2 position. Federico Soriano nabbed a 6-2, 7-5 mark in the No. 3 slot. Will Gray, Diego Camacho and 93rd-ranked Andy Connelly captured victories in the bottom half of the lineup.
In doubles action, Lucques Maasdorp and Ricardo Soriano combined for an 8-5 win over Robin Fernandes and Moreira in the No. 1 position, and Camacho and Aleksander Charpantidis earned an 8-2 victory in the No. 2 slot. UTSA men's team next match is the HEB Invitational held in Corpus Christi, Texas on March 2-4.
