HOUSTON – Led by strong performance from senior All-American Ryanne Dupree and junior Natasha Ramos, the UTSA women’s track field team turned in several solid performances Saturday at the Houston Indoor Invitational in its final tune-up for the Southland Conference Indoor Championships.

One week after breaking two school records, Dupree finished fourth among collegians and seventh overall in the long jump with a leap of 19-5 ˝. She also cleared 5-6 in the high jump for seventh place.

Ramos took fourth in the shot put with a mark of 43-10 ˝ and finished seventh among collegiate competitors in the 20-pound weight throw with a personal-best 51-9 ľ effort.

The 4x400-meter relay team posted one of the top times in the SLC with a runner-up 3:49.90, just behind Houston’s 3:49.43.

In other action, junior Morgan Moszee finished fifth in the long jump (19-2), seventh in the triple jump (37-10 ˝), ninth in the 60m (7.73) and seventh in the 200m (25.20) in a busy afternoon.

The Roadrunners are off until the SLC Indoor Championships held at Bill Yeoman Field House in Houston on Friday-Saturday, Feb. 17-18.
