SAN ANTONIO - Players from Texas A&M won both singles flights and the doubles championship as play wrapped up at the 2005 UTSA Men's Tennis Invitational on Sunday at the UTSA Tennis Center.
John Nallon and Matt Bain won the two singles flights, with Nallon scoring a 5-7, 6-4, 6-2 win over Kendall Smashey of St. Edward's in one final, while Bain won 6-4, 6-2 over Luis Diaz-Barriga of Texas in the other. In doubles, Bain combined with Markus Lunt to win 8-4 over the team of Miguel Herrera and Amrit Narasimhan of Tyler Junior College.
