Roadrunners head to Rhode Island for Adams Cup of Newport

SAN ANTONIO – Fresh off a fourth-place finish at the Mean Green Classic two weeks ago, the UTSA men's golf team travels to Newport, R.I., to compete in the Adams Cup of Newport on Monday-Tuesday, Sept. 26-27, at Newport National Golf Club's Orchard Course (7,244 yards/par 72).

One of the top annual fall tournaments on the collegiate schedule, the Adams Cup tees off at 7 a.m. Central time on Monday with 36 holes, followed by the final 18 on Tuesday.

The field includes Bryant, East Carolina, Furman, Georgetown Houston Iowa State Marshall, North Carolina, North Texas, Rhode Island, South Florida, Southeastern Louisiana, South Carolina-Aiken, Texas A&M, UTSA, Virginia Commonwealth and Yale.
