UTSA signs four to National Letters of Intent

SAN ANTONIO - The University of Texas at San Antonio men's track and field program announced Monday the signings of Carvey Evans (Floresville, Texas), Brandon Glowacki (Kingwood, Texas), Jake Story (Dripping Springs, Texas) and Tommy Wolfe (Raymondville, Texas) to National Letters of Intent.

Evans is a jumper from Floresville High School, where he won the District 30-4A title in the high jump and the long jump as a senior. He owns a personal-best clearance of 6-8 in the high jump.

Glowacki is a horizontal jumper out of Kingwood High School in the Houston area. He was the district 22-5A runner-up in the triple jump and posted prep bests of 45-5 in the triple and 23-5 in the long jump.

Story won Region IV-4A and District 27-4A titles in the high jump as a senior at Dripping Springs High School near Austin. Like Evans, he has cleared a personal-best of 6-8.

Wolfe, the younger brother of current UTSA multi-eventer Bryan Wolfe, was a standout in a variety of events for Raymondville High School. He was the Region IV-3A champion in the long jump and pole vault and went on to finish second in the vault and third in the long jump at the state meet this past spring. The District 32-3A champion in the vault, Wolfe posted prep bests of 15-6 in the vault, 22-5 in the long jump, 6-4 in the high jump and 14.5 in the 110-meter hurdles.
