| March 29, 2005 UTSA scores 6-5 win over Texas-Pan American Box Score After the Broncs tied the game at five in the top of the ninth, the Roadrunners needed only three batters in the bottom half of the inning to improve their record to 9-17. After senior Sean Danielson lined out off reliever Chad Linders to lead off, junior J.R. Voyles doubled. Junior Ryan Crew, who went 3-for-4 with a go-ahead three-run home run in the seventh, was then intentionally walked bringing up the Southland Conference Hitter of the Week in Holdren. On a 0-1 pitch, the senior transfer belted a line drive down the right field line for the game-clincher. Junior reliever Jason Vecchio (2-3) was credited with the win after blowing a save opportunity in the ninth. Linders tossed the final two inning and fell to 0-4 on the year with the loss. The Roadrunners found themselves down 4-1 heading into the bottom of the seventh, but scored four in the inning to jump ahead 5-4. Redshirt freshman Phillip Allen, who got the start in right field, singled and moved to second when senior Sean Danielson rapped out a single up the middle. Allen then scored on Voyles' RBI-single. Vecchio came on in the eighth and faced one batter, then loaded the bases in the ninth. Matt Eichel's sacrifice fly was all the Broncs needed to send it to the bottom of the ninth. Aaron Rodriguez tossed the next 2.1 innings, while Dustin Thibodeaux faced two batters in the eighth.
