SAN MARCOS, Texas - Game three in the UTSA at Texas State series originally scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday has been cancelled due to rain in the San Marcos area. The game will not be made up.
Texas State won game one of the series Friday evening, 5-3, in nine innings. The Roadrunners came back for a convincing 12-3 victory in game two late Friday night. The split leaves UTSA at 23-14 overall and 7-4 in the Southland Conference. Texas State is 16-18 and 10-4.
The Roadrunners return to action with a three-game series at Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday-Sunday, April 2-3, in Hammond, La.
