HOUSTON - The UTSA doubles team of Hetori Chaves and Joe Michael Olfindo reached the semifinal round of their respective draw before being eliminated on Sunday, Jan. 23 on the final day of the 7th Annual Met/Rice Indoor Invitational.
Chaves and Olfindo were stopped by the Rice combination of Jason Mok and Take Morita by an 8-4 count.
UTSA will return to action on Feb. 5 with the first team competition of the spring against Prairie View A&M on the road at 2 p.m.
