2005 UTSA Baseball Schedule

SAN ANTONIO- The UTSA baseball team has announced its 2005 schedule, highlighted by 25 home games and the annual Alamo City Classic at Wolff Stadium.

The Roadrunners will play 13 games at Wolff Stadium, home of the San Antonio Missions, the Seattle Mariners AA affiliate, including matchups with Big 12 powers Texas A&M and Baylor, and the Alamo City Classic, featuring Notre Dame, Oral Roberts and Southwest Missouri State. UTSA will host 12 more contests at Roadrunner Field on the 1604 campus, including Southland Conference series with Lamar, Texas-Arlington and Southeastern Louisiana.

The Roadrunners open the season with a three-game series against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at Wolff Stadium on Feb. 11-13 before road date at 2004 NCAA runner-up Texas on Feb. 15. UTSA will play in the Midland Rockhound Tournament on Feb. 24-26 in Midland, Texas, and the Texas-Pan American Tournament on March 4-6 in Edinburg, Texas. The Southland Conference Tournament is set for May 25-28 in Natchitoches, La.
