SAN ANTONIO — The UTSA men’s and women’s tennis teams have released the 2004-05 schedules, with the women kicking off the season by hosting the UTSA Sectionals and the men opening the fall campaign at the Texas Invitational both on Friday-Sunday, Sept. 17-19.
The women will play five fall tournaments, highlighted by the UTSA Sectionals and the UTSA Fall Invitational on Oct. 29-31 at the UTSA Tennis Center. The men are slated for six fall events, with the annual UTSA Invitational set for Oct. 8-10.
The women’s spring slate includes 11 home matches, including a six-match homestand from Feb. 26-March 6. The Roadrunners open the spring at SMU in Dallas on Feb. 4, contest 10 Southland Conference matches, five at home, and host the Southland Conference Tournament on April 22-24.
The men open the spring campaign on Jan. 21-23 at the Rice Invitational in Houston and play host to nine matches, including three SLC opponents. The men’s conference tournament also will be at the UTSA Tennis Center on April 22-24. |
