UTSA Roadrunners qualify for 2004 Southland Conference Baseball Tournament 2004 SLC Tournament Bracket
SAN ANTONIO - After a two-year postseason drought, the UTSA baseball team has qualified for the 2004 Southland Conference Baseball Tournament. The Roadrunners (27-29, 12-14 SLC) enter as the No. 6 seed in the six-team, double-elimination tournament that will be held on Wednesday-Saturday, May 26-29, in Hammond, La. Southeastern Louisiana University will serve as the host institution with all games being played at Alumni Field.
This marks the first postseason appearance for UTSA since head coach Sherman Corbett's first season in 2001.
UTSA faces SLC regular season champion and No. 1 seed Lamar University, who is also ranked No. 26 nationally, at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
