Mezei wraps senior campaign with solid showing at NCAA Central Regional NCAA Central Regional Web Site (purduesports.com) Final Results
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - UTSA senior golfer Mike Mezei wrapped up his senior season with a tie for 91st place at the NCAA Central Regional hosted by Purdue at Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex's Kampen Course.
Mezei, a first team All-Southland Conference and SLC All-Academic team selection, fired rounds of 83, 74 and 80 for a 54-hole total of 21-over-par 237 for 91st in the field of 141 players.
In the team standings, Kentucky won the regional title with a three-round total of 882, followed by Oklahoma State (893), Oklahoma (896), Texas A&M (899), Texas (901) and TCU (901). SLC foe Lamar tied for 20th (934).
