SAN ANTONIO - The UTSA Roadrunners host the Houston Cougars in a non-conference game on Tuesday, April 20. First pitch is set for 2 p.m. at Roadrunner Field.

UTSA enters the non-conference matchup with Houston at 20-18 including an 11-6 home mark and 13-11 outside of the Southland Conference. It will be the third game played at UTSA's Roadrunner Field this season having won the previous two.

The Cougars lead the all-time series with the Roadrunners by the count of 9-4. Houston has won five in a row against UTSA, counting the last meeting between the teams, an 8-6 win in Houston a season ago. The last time the Runners defeated the Coogs was in 1994 by a score of 10-4. It will be the third time that UTSA has faced UH under coach Sherman Corbett.

SAN MARCOS, Texas - UTSA sophomore J.R. Voyles blasted a grand slam as part of a 2-for-4, five-RBI day, to help lead the Roadrunners to an 8-6 win over Southland Conference rival Texas State at Bobcat Field Sunday afternoon.

At the Helm
Fourth year head coach Sherman Corbett is the third UTSA skipper in baseball history. With an overall record of 84-85 (.429) entering the 2004 season, Corbett has posted more wins in his first three seasons than either coach before him.

UTSA travels to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Wednesday for a 1 p.m. doubleheader at Islander Field.
