UTSA closes regular season with 7-0 victory over Texas Southern
SAN ANTONIO - The UTSA men's tennis team readied itself for the upcoming Southland Conference Championships by scoring a 7-0 non-conference win over Texas Southern on Saturday afternoon at the UTSA Tennis Center.
UTSA, which improved to 9-11 with the win, will host the SLC Championships on April 30-May 2 at the Tennis Center.
The Roadrunners won in impressive fashion on Saturday as UTSA opened the match by sweeping all three doubles matches. Seniors Brett Veale and Ricardo Gasca, playing in their final home regular season match, combined to win 8-5 at No. 3 doubles. Veale and Gasca also won their respective singles matches.
