UTSA men's tennis hosts Texas Southern in regular season home finale
SAN ANTONIO - The UTSA men's tennis team hosts Texas Southern in the regular season home finale on Saturday, April 17. First serve is set for 1 p.m. at the UTSA Tennis Center. Admission is free.
UTSA seniors Ricardo Gasca and Brett Veale will be honored alongside the lone senior on the women's team, Kateryna Romanenko, prior to the match.
The Roadrunners are 8-11 overall and finished in fourth place in the Southland Conference with a 2-3 mark.
Individually, freshman Todd Hoy has posted a 7-7 dual match singles record playing mostly at Nos. 5 and 6. In doubles, Hoy and sophomore Joe Olfindo have combined for a 7-5 record at No. 3, including a 3-2 league mark.
UTSA will host the Southland Conference Men's Tennis Championships on Friday-Sunday, April 30-May 2. |
