UTSA women's basketball adds two during early signing period

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The University of Texas at San Antonio women's basketball team signed two players to national letters of intent for the 2004-05 season, head coach Rae Rippetoe-Blair announced Thursday.

Joining the Roadrunners are 5-7 point guard, Terrie Davis from Houston Spring Woods High School and 6-0 forward, Tia Boga, a McDonald's All-American candidate from Livingston (Texas) High School.

"Terrie is a true point guard that will be good for UTSA because she's capable of pushing the ball up the floor and scoring for us," said Blair. "Tia will really help us at the forward position and with her great athleticism she will also be able to contribute as a center."

UTSA (0-1) will be on the road this weekend (Nov. 21-23) for non-conference action at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Friday at 7 p.m. and at Texas Southern in Houston, Sunday at 7:05 p.m.
