UTSA to host 2003 NCAA Volleyball YES Clinic
Registration form SAN ANTONIO - UTSA will serve as the host school when the NCAA conducts a youth volleyball clinic on Saturday, Nov. 22, at the UTSA Convocation Center. The clinic will last from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Girls in the 6th through 8th grades are invited to participate in the YES (Youth Education through Sports) clinic held in conjunction with the 2003 Southland Conference (SLC) Volleyball Championships. Registration is on a first come, first served basis and all applications must be faxed to the UTSA Athletic office by Nov. 18. Pre-registration is required.
UTSA athletic staff, SLC volleyball coaches and varsity athletes will conduct this event. A session for parents will be held to discuss issues such as coaching, nutrition, sportsmanship, injury prevention and college recruiting and admission requirements.
All participants will receive a free YES t-shirt, a free ticket to the finals of the SLC Volleyball Championships to be played at UTSA on Sunday, Nov. 23.
