SAN ANTONIO — Machon Trimm hurled five innings of no-hit ball and Lamar rolled to a 7-2 victory in UTSA's season finale on Saturday afternoon at Roadrunner Field.

The Roadrunners (22-32, 12-20 SLC) received a line-drive single by sophomore RJ Perucki in the sixth to break up Trimm's no-hit bid.

Trimm (1-4) gave up only one more hit, a seventh-inning single to junior Daniel Rockett, and one run in his 6.2 innings of work.

The Cardinals (22-30, 14-19 SLC) plated three runs in the first and one more in the second to take an 4-0 early lead.

Lamar tacked on single runs in both the fourth and fifth to stretch the advantage to a half dozen.

UTSA's first run came in the sixth when senior P.D. McIntyre hit a sacrifice fly to center field, which brought home senior Jason Mohn, who walked to lead off the frame.

V.J. Bunner pushed the Cardinals' lead back to six with a solo home run in the following stanza.

The Roadrunners capped the scoring in the ninth on junior Ryan Dalton's run-scoring single.

Sophomore Michael Kraft (8-6) surrendered six runs on 11 hits in 4.2 innings.

Prior to the contest, UTSA honored its six seniors — Colby Braddock, Matthew James, McIntyre, Mohn, Cody Scott and Casey Selsor.
