COLUMBUS, Ohio UTSA carded a final-round 319 on Saturday to post a three-day score of 962 (317-326-319) and the Roadrunners finished in 20th place at this weekend's NCAA Central Regional.

Sophomores Fabiola Arriaga and Taylor Newlin fired rounds of 77 and 78, respectively, to finish in a tie for 84th place with a 239. Arriaga (82-80-77) notched birdies on Nos. 14 and 18 en route to her best round of the tournament, while Newlin (77-84-78) finished with a team-best four birdies and shot two-under-par on the front nine.

Meanwhile, junior Paola Valerio fired an 82 to finish in a tie for 99th with a 243 (80-81-82) and senior Summer Batiste tied for 104th with a 245 (78-83-84). Fellow senior Shannon Jungman rounded out the scoring for the Roadrunners with a 251 (87-82-82) to tie for 116th.

Southern California took the top spot in the team standings with a three-day total of 874 (298-290-286), while the USC's Lisa McCloskey and Florida State’s Maria Salinas tied for individual medalist honors with a 213.

UTSA concluded its most-successful season in program history with a record four tournament victories, including its second consecutive Southland Conference Championship and NCAA appearance.
