SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA softball team closes out its regular-season road slate at Florida Atlantic April 29-May 1 in Boca Raton, Fla.

UTSA enters the series 16-25 overall and 9-8 in conference play. The Roadrunners are coming off a 2-1 series win over Southern Miss.
Kat Ibarra leads the team with a .346 batting average. She as 33 runs, 45 hits, four doubles, three triples and seven home runs on the season. Marena Estell leads in home runs with 13 and in the circle with a 3.53 ERA. The senior has made 23 appearances with five starts and pitched 73.1 innings with 39 strikeouts.

FAU comes into the weekend 24-22 overall and 11-7 in C-USA play. The Owls are coming off a 2-1 series win over FIU.
Sara Berthiaume leads with a .390 batting average. She has 25 runs, 53 hits, nine doubles, six triples and four home runs. In the circle, Lynn Gardner leads with a 2.33 ERA. She has a 14-7 record and has pitched 144.0 innings with 98 strikeouts.
