SAN ANTONIO – UTSA junior Jacob Germany has been selected honorable mention All-Conference USA in a voting of the league coaches and media, it was announced on Monday afternoon.
A native of Kingston, Okla., Germany ranks among the league leaders in six offensive categories, while leading the Roadrunners offensive attack. A 6-foot-11 center, Germany leads UTSA in points (14.7), rebounds (7.2), field-goal percentage (.482) and blocks (25).
He ranks 10th in the league in points per game, seventh in rebounding per game, fourth in field-goal percentage, fifth in offensive rebounds per game (2.61), 13th in defensive rebounds per game (4.58) and 15thin free-throw percentage (.710).
In his three-year career, Germany ranks sixth in program history in blocks (80), 11th in rebounds (519) and 23rdin scoring (895). He averages 10.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game over his 88-game UTSA career.
The Roadrunners (10-21, 3-15 C-USA) will return to action on Tuesday in the first round of the 2022 Conference USA Championships at The Star in Frisco, facing Southern Miss at 7 p.m. on ESPN+ and Ticket 760 AM.
