Roadrunners to face Middle Tennessee on Saturday in Denton

DENTON, Texas – The UTSA women's tennis team was upended by North Texas 4-0 Friday afternoon at the Waranch Tennis Complex.
 
The Mean Green earned the doubles point early, forcing the No. 3 match to go unfinished. At No. 1 the duo of Aleksandra Zlatarova and Alexandra Weir were defeated by their opponents 6-3. Jasmin Starr and Stanislava Bobrovnikova were swept 6-0 at No. 2.
 
After a forfeited singles match at No. 6, North Texas won two more matches, back-to-back to close the match. Bobrovnikova dropped her match at No. 3, 6-0, 6-2. At No. 4, Eva Beyebach was defeated 6-1 in her first set before being swept 6-0 in the second. The matches at No. 1, 2 and 5 were unfinished.
 
UTSA will return to the courts in Denton to face Middle Tennessee Saturday, Feb. 12 at 12 p.m.
