Women's tennis suffers setback at Houston

HOUSTON – A slow start by UTSA women's tennis fueled a 4-0 setback against Houston at the Winston Tennis Facility Sunday.
 
The Cougars grabbed the early 1-0 lead with wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 double pairs, requiring the Roadrunners to win four of the six individual matches.
 
Jasmin Starr held a one set to none advantage and was up in the second set at the No. 1 position, while Kylee Kato was deadlocked at the fourth spot when the Cougars secured the match.
 
Up Next:
The Roadrunners conclude their six-match road trip at 2 p.m. in San Marcos, Texas when they take on Texas State.
