DENTON, Texas -- Freshman Jasmin Starr earned a singles win over a ranked foe to clinch a UTSA women's tennis 4-3 win over North Texas, on Sunday afternoon at Waranch Tennis Center.
UTSA (11-10) topped North Texas (9-9) behind a stellar performance from Starr, the freshman who has owned the lead role in the UTSA lineup throughout the year. UTSA got singles wins from Starr, Kylee Kato and Charleen Tiwari.
UTSA travels to face Houston on Friday.
